Richard C. Almy, age 75 of Saginaw passed away peacefully September 21, 2026, at Close to Home Associated Living in Saginaw. He was the son of the late Clayton and Virginia (Schroeder) Almy. Richard was born June 23, 1951, in Saginaw. He was a 1969 graduate of Carrollton High School. He had been employed by General Motors at Saginaw Steering Gear from 1969 until his retirement in 2006. Richard was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He enjoyed watching Drag Car Racing, playing golf and poker with his friends, and also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his 2 sons and their spouses, Brent (Magen) Almy of Saginaw and Bryan (Chelsea) Almy of Saginaw, 5 grandchildren, Jacob, Gavin (Hailey), Landon (Leah), Carter, and Teagan, and 1 great grandchild, Wyatt.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Almy who passed away in 2016.

Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26th at Cederberg Brietzke Funeral Home of Saginaw, 403 N. Michigan Ave. with Pastor Gary Bender Officiating. Committal Service and entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum in Saginaw.

Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon.
