Richard Horonzy of Saginaw passed away on September 12, 2016 at the Aleda Lutz V.A. Medical Center at the age of 74 years.  He was born on March 10, 1942 to the son of the late Anthony and Agnes Horonzy in Saginaw. He graduated from Saginaw High School and served with the U.S. Marine Corp from 1960 to 1964 in Okinawa.  He was General Contractor in the tile installation business prior to his retirement.  He was an avid sports fan especially rooting for the Tigers and Michigan State Spartans.  He also enjoyed playing cards and fixing things.

He is survived by 2 sons, Anthony Horonzy of Saginaw and Kelly Horonzy of Royal Oak, Michigan; 1 daughter, Audra Belongia of Freeland; 2 grandchildren Alec Horonzy, and Grace Belongia; 3 sisters, Rose, Sharon, and Annette.

He was preceded in death by his 3 sisters, Isabella (Billie), Connie, and Jackie.

A Private Service has already taken place, interment of his cremains will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
