Rita D. Hernandez

Rita D. Hernandez of Saginaw passed away on July 24, 2018 at Hoyt Nursing Home at the age of 85 years.  She was born on January 18, 1933 in Saginaw to the late Remijio and Benita Hernandez.  She was employed by Michigan Bell Telephone Co. and as a Care Giver prior to her retirement.  She was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Surviving are 1 sister, Mary Guzman; 2 sisters-in-law, Delores Hernandez and Refugia Hernandez; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by 4 brothers, Benny, Joe, Nick, and Richard Hernandez.

Funeral Service will take place 10:00 a.m. Friday July 27, 2018 at St Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Frank Voris officiating.  Interment at Mt Olivet Cemetery.  Visitation at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
