Robert Leroy Evans of Saginaw passed away December 4, 2024, at the age of 80 years old at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw following a brief illness. Robert was born October 16, 1944, in Goodrich Michigan to Custer Evans and Gladys (Robinson) Evans. He was married to Mary E. Ostrander on September 5, 1970, in Burt Michigan, she survives him. He had been employed by Buick Motor Division in Flint, Michigan, later on as a Security Guard in Saginaw County. He was then employed at Covenant Healthcare for 15 years as a Kitchen Assistant prior to his retirement in 2013.

Robert enjoyed doing Word Search Books in his free time.

He is survived by his wife Mary, children, Thomas Holloway, Michelle Evans, Melissa Evans, and Tammy Evans. He also is survived by his two half sisters, Helen Louchart, and Connie Gutzmer, Robert's brother's and sister's-in-law, Ralph Ostrander, Robert (Sue) Ostrander, and Marie Wallace (Bruce) and several nieces and nephews also survive. Robert was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law Ted Ostrander and Diane Holloway

Robert is also preceded by four brothers and sisters and three half Siblings and his parents.

A Celebration of Life will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday May 3, 2025 at Beacon of Hope Church located at 2109 West Michigan Ave. Saginaw, Mi 48638. Memorial Dinner will be served during that time
