Rose Marie O’Brien, age 85 of Saginaw, passed away August 3, 2026, at Avista Care Home in Bridgeport. Daughter of the late Elmer and Martha Hasenleder, Rose was born November 21, 1940, in Saginaw. She was married to Dale F. Obrien on September 12, 1959, in Saginaw, and he preceded her in death on December 26, 2017. Mrs. O’Brien was manager of the Fanny Farmer Candy Store on State Street in Saginaw prior to her retirement. She enjoyed Bowling and coloring books in her free time.

Surviving is her daughter, Holly O’Brien and 2 grandchildren, Jonathan and Jennifer O’Brien.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dale M. O’Brien in 2022.

Cremation has taken place.

Graveside Service will take place at a later date at Great Lakes Cemetery in Holly, Michigan, where she will be Interred next to her husband, Dale F. O’Brien.
