Ruth Ann Hidalgo, age 72 of Saginaw passed away November 8, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. The daughter of the late Harwood and Marion Provencher, Ruth was born February 21, 1947 in Saginaw. She married Antonio Carmona and he preceded her in death. She was later married to Toribio “Porky” Hidalgo and he also preceded her in death. Ruth had been employed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
Surviving are her children, Paula Cortez, Nonnie Chinery, Laura Hidalgo, Debra Hidalgo, Lisa Hidalgo, Dawn Provencher, Anthony (Faith) Carmona, April North, Kristie Gallop, Andrea Botello, Melissa Botello, and Bryanna Perkins; many grandchildren and great grandchildren including special granddaughters Airianna and Lyasia Garza; and Ruth’s Siblings, Pete (Marcia) Provencher, Mark (Sharon) Provencher, Cathy Lynn Young, and Penny (Canary) Sheard.
Ruth Ann was preceded in death by 3 children, John Cortez, Chris Hidalgo, and Stephanie Carmona.

Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 615 Hoyt Street in Saginaw. Friends may visit with the family at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. There will be a service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home led by Mark Peters, and Jason McInally and the rosary will be recited by Christina Chingman
