Severo “Uncle Baby” Ledesma age 82 of Saginaw passed away Sunday December 29, 2024, at Covenant Healthcare Center. Son of the late Juan and Dolores Ledesma, Severo was born March 22, 1942, in Saginaw. He lived in Saginaw most of his life except for a few years in Flint, Michigan.

He was employed by Bill Mar Foods prior to his retirement. Uncle Baby enjoyed dancing, playing cards, socializing with family and friends, and bike riding. He was of the Catholic Faith.

He is survived by a son, Severo Ledesma Jr., 2 grandsons, Severo III and Isaiah Ledesma, 2 great-grandsons and 1 great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews including Lydia (Felipe) Velazquez. Pedro Merino, Merinda Jones, and Christina (Chris) Burns, Arthur, Esther, John and Adan Ledesma.

He was preceded in death by a son, Louie, and by his siblings, John, Henry, Guadalupe, Delores, Louis, Manuel, and Luzmaria.

Funeral Service will take place 3:00 p.m. Saturday January 4th at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw. Friends may visit with family at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of Service.

Interment will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
