Shauntel Vaughn, age 54 of Sagianw passed away April 14, 2024, at University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor after an extended illness. Daughter of the late Samuel Fentress and Elnora Vaughn, Shauntel was born October 17, 1969, in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a 1987 graduate from Saginaw High School. She was employed as a Tax Preparer in Saginaw for many years prior to her illness. She enjoyed singing and playing games on her phone and computer.

Shauntel is survived by 2 children, Jaelen Vaughn, Lexus Nickleberry, and bonus children Brianna Braddock and Shanice Taylor whom she raised along with her own children, Godchildren, Darold Jr., Desmond, Desire, Dakota, and Bevonity Cain, all of Saginaw, her best friend, Beverly Cain. Her siblings James (Tanya) Vaughn, Charles Vaughn, Richard Vaughn, Sharon Walker, Rosie (Jerry) Chapman, Beverly (Jerome) Holiday, Cynthia (Darrell) Morris, and Sandra (James) Hudson, and many nieces and nephews, and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Lillian Jackson, Valerie Woodhouse, and Wilma (Jean) Fentress, and her brother Roger Fentress.

Friends may visit with the family at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw on Monday May 13th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be Private on Tuesday May 14th at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saginaw.
