Tony Gene Peterson, age 64 passed away August 19, 2024, after an extended illness. Son of William and Joyce (Turner) Peterson, Tony was born October 16, 1959, in Saginaw.

Tony was hard working and did a lot of manual labor in the roofing and painting business. He was an avid deer hunter who also liked camping and fishing. Tony loved animals and enjoyed lending a helping hand to loved ones, especially helping his mother.

Tony is survived by his daughter, Holly Jean Banks, 4 grandchildren, Cassidy, Cheyenne, Carrington, and Carleigh, his wife Janet Little, his mother Joyce Peterson, 4 siblings, Ron (Karen) Peterson, Jody (Kathy) Peterson, Hank (Connie) Peterson, and Michelle (Todd) Dunham, many cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father William Peterson in 2013, a sister Lori Volker in 2022, and by an infant brother, John Peterson.

Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw with Rev. Fr. John Mancini officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Burt. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
