Wanda May Cicalo, age 88 of Saginaw passed away suddenly on October 11, 2022, at home. One of ten children born to the late Robert and Eva Brawley, Wanda was born May 17, 1934, in Saginaw. She was a 1952 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. She married Charles M. Cicalo on November 20, 1954, in Birch Run where they made their home. Charles preceded her in death in 1968.

Wanda was devoted to God and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Birch Run where she was a member of the Ladies Aid Group and taught Sunday School for many years. She moved to Saginaw in 1988 and joined Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Wanda’s favorite pastime was playing Bingo.

Surviving are her 3 children, Chuck (Marianne) Cicalo, Roseann Powell, and Caroline “Katie” (Leo) Livingston; 4 grandchildren, Eva Crawford, Jason (Michelle) Powell, Zachary Livingston, and Amanda (Toni) Chandler; 1 great grandchild, Brianna Crawford; and many nieces and nephews survive.

She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Cicalo; a grandson, Matthew Cicalo, a son-in-law, Lon Powell, and by her 9 siblings.

Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Saginaw with Pastor Michael Korte officiating. Interment will be at Birch Run Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
