Willis C. Chroninger II, age 67 of Saginaw passed away suddenly August 31, 2020 at home. The son of the late Willis and Esther Chroninger, Willis was born June 3, 1953 in Alpena. He was a 1971 graduate of Alpena High School and a graduate of Alpena Community College in 1973. He married the former Patricia Ann Britzke on September 25, 1982 at the Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church in Saginaw. Willis was a police officer with the City of Saginaw Police Department. He later worked for Art Van Furniture Co. in the sales department until his retirement. Willis was an avid reader and enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, and taking care of the family pets.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia; two children, Justin Chroninger and Megan (Andrew) Schultz; brother-in-law, Robert (Tina Martin) Britzke; and nieces and nephews; and Willis had two sisters, Eleanor Grant, and Mary Lou Dell.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Robert, and Alice Britzke; and brother-in-law, William Britzke.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
